Southeast Lineman Training Center Selects Fusion Paper® to Withstand Harsh Weather

St George, UT – The Southeast Lineman Training Center (SLTC) located in Trenton, GA is a vocational school dedicated to teaching future generations of electrical and communications lineworkers. The SLTC has been called the “bootcamp of lineman schools” for its rigorous outdoor training classes where students are required to practice their trade by climbing and working on utility poles in all types of weather, including rain, snow, wind, and temperatures over 100° F, to prepare them for the work they will do getting communities back up and running after inclement weather. Due to the harsh weather conditions, SLTC needed a weatherproof paper for their field manuals that would keep going strong regardless of the weather. Because of its excellent durability properties, including being waterproof and tear resistant, SLTC chose Fusion 7.5 mil Soft Polyester for their field manuals. Jared Anders, SLTC’s marketing director, was searching for a durable, waterproof, tear resistant paper to print the field manual on and found Fusion 7.5 mil Soft Polyester to be “a really great product that we’ve been absolutely amazed by.” The field manuals, which illustrate for the student linemen various schematics for how to build out different wiring projects, are 15 pages long

Fusion Synthetics Are Versatile

Versatility. It’s something we all search for in many aspects of our business.  It’s also one of the reasons that the digital synthetics category is growing so fast, due in large part to everyone trying to get the most from the significant financial investments they’ve made in their digital equipment. Having products like Fusion Digital Paper™ allows the versatility of your digital equipment to shine. Pictured to the left is a wine label printed on Fusion Digital Name Badge that we believe is a perfect example of what you can produce on your digital equipment. This is due in large part to our unique adhesive, which is an incredible apparel adhesive that adheres great to clothing apparel all day and yet peels off cleanly when your event is over. However, when you apply this adhesive to surfaces such as glass, it is a permanent adhesive which makes it outstanding for wine and beverage labeling applications. The other feature that makes Fusion Digital Name Badge excellent for premium beverage label applications is the satin acetate face stock which is both rich to the touch and gives an appearance that exudes quality. The fabric face stock has a beautiful pearlescent sheen to
