Back in July, the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) released its Digital Marketing Practices and Trends report.  Digital media is growing rapidly, but the finding indicate that 17% of businesses overall marketing budget is earmarked for direct mail.  This represents the largest share of any media.

Most businesses have yet to fully understand how to properly use digital media, but many are experimenting with social media, web advertising, and mobile media.  The businesses that come out on top are going to be those that effectively weave direct mail with digital media.
