Use Fusion Rigid Polyester For Lasting Impressions

In an increasingly digitally driven world, here is an example of how print media can still be a powerful tool to grow your business and brand. In this case, a charter fishing boat company wanted to find a way to promote their fishing charters.  Due to the nature of their operation, the captain would be handing out the promotion when the customers boarded the boat.  Therefore, the promotion needed to be tough enough to handle any weather and water issues on the boat, yet durable enough to be thrown into a backpack without getting damaged. Pictured above is the digitally printed promotion on Fusion 8 mil Rigid Polyester.  As you can see, they found a way to not only have a promotion for the near term, but also one that will endure and be a silent salesman for years to come. Once customers are home with their big catch, the pictures of the fish featured on the back are a friendly reminder of which fish they will be cooking up.  This will be especially helpful to the novice fisherman who went on the charter for a fishing adventure of a lifetime.  But the key to the promotion are the great

Fusion’s Foldable, Lightweight Polyester

I hear it all the time – lightweight digital polyester sheets can be a challenge to work with.  If you’re using any one of the many top coated polyester films you know that’s true.  Double sheeting issues in the feeding trays, and static bricking in the receiving trays can cause significant lost productivity while printing.  And more often than not, when you run lightweight polyester sheets there will be some print finishing associated with the project, so fighting static while you are jogging and stacking, cutting and punching, or struggling while trying to fold a sheet that has too much memory to lay flat can really cost you. So, what’s the answer to this issue?  While our competitors believe that static is just an inherent issue with top coated digital films and they look to using lower cost cavitated films to try to mitigate the issue with price, we chose to look outside the box and develop a truly unique solution. It all boils down to this…What price do you put on performance and productivity? Would you like a lightweight polyester sheet with STATIC FREE RUNNABILITY? Would you like a lightweight polyester sheet that performs like paper during print finishing?

Fusion’s Extreme Label Solution

Finding new products and application solutions will help you develop new customers and differentiate yourself in today’s competitive marketplace.  After all, new business is the lifeblood of every company and one of the keys to long term growth and security. Such was the case for us with Fusion Extreme Permanent.  The solution that was needed was a cryogenic label that could be xerographically printed and dropped into liquid nitrogen without the label cracking and falling off, or the print becoming unreadable.  So we started with a very conformable fabric solution that can handle extreme temperatures and then we top coat it on our proprietary fabric coating equipment with our special polyurethane coating which is very toner receptive.  Next, we develop and coat an adhesive that can withstand temperatures down to -320°F.  Piece of cake, right? But the neat thing about Fusion Digital Paper™ products is that once they are introduced to the marketplace customers and end users find so many other ways to take advantage of the unique features and benefits of our digital substrates. From our friends up in Alaska who have used this for signage on the Alaska Pipeline and Alaskan Iron Dog Race, to HVAC signs in
