Yet Another Synthetic Paper Use…Currency!

I recently read an article about a little town in California, called North Fork, that is printing its own currency on synthetic paper.  The town is using it as a method of attempting to invigorate the local economy by encouraging its residents to spend money for products and services within the city, versus going elsewhere.

Synthetic Paper Many Uses

Fusion Digital Paper could be used for this and even better that our own greenbacks! Fusion waterproof paper is a vinyl paper substitute and can be printed on high heat toner digital printers, so you could even put resident’s images on the paper. That would be neat to have the conference winning high school basketball team on the currency or somebody that performed a good deed.

Really, the possibilities with our synthetic paper are endless. From sticker paper to decal paper…to currency!
